I find it amazing that you can use Lightroom on a number of different platforms, including the iPad. The mobile interface is still somewhat basic, but better than before. You can create albums in the mobile version, but it does not allow for batch-processing like the desktop does. You can also create your own presets and share them with others. One of my first impressions of the iPad version of Lightroom is that it is faster and more enjoyable to work with than earlier versions. We use the Pen tool to draw a path. Replacing the default cursor with a Pen tool allows your pen to follow the path you’re drawing. You can also choose the hardness of the Pen tool by using the Pen Pressure tool.

With the Blend Tool, you can change the intensity of the colors within an area. You can enable or disable the Hard Light or Soft Light effect, or choose your own color in the Material Editor.
The easiest way to use Photoshop is to use it as a normal image editor, like in Photoshop Elements. Doing this will let you use Photoshop for the things that Photoshop is good at. It is best for editing images and doing things like cropping, colour correction, and basic illustration.
The benefit of having a dedicated editor for such purposes is that you only have to go through one program. If you add the drawing, text or other tools into Elements, the application is going to be more confused than it needs to be, so it would benefit you to stick with one program.

Preserve Illustrator’s Distribute Nodes exists in Photoshop when it is brought up in the preferences.
