Maze Art: Purple is a minimalist game where players are challenged to find a way out of a maze. The goal is simple: launch the ball through the entrance of the maze to the portal.
Maze Art: Purple is not about shooting a ball through mazes, but it is about controlling a ball by simply launching it in the correct direction. Every level is a puzzle, because unlike traditional puzzle games where players try to use their brain to solve the problem, they use their fingers to change the path of the ball as it flies through the level.
The levels are laid out like a grid and players can choose to drop the ball from the top or bottom of the screen. Drops are executed with a tap of the screen, and are either timed or untimed.
Touch devices no longer have a hard time navigating the game – the swipe mechanic lets the user traverse the maze by simply following the ball. Players can also change the path of the ball via swipes, to make precise jumps or slow the ball down in a snipe.
This game was created as a sincere tribute to Mario for the Nintendo 2DS. You don’t need to own a 2DS or have any of the original game’s content to play it. The spirit is the same.

The history of Golf is typically traced back to ancient times when the game of ‘Chakka’ was played by Ancient Egyptians, Mayans and Mayans. For golf to become a worldwide phenomenon we have to thank a handful of men who visited places such as Scotland, Cuba, England and Portugal with one purpose in mind – to play golf. Each time the game spread and took shape the clubs changed and evolved over time. On the 7th April 1880, when The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews was formed, the core principles of the rules of golf were finally formulated and remained unchanged through the centuries.
THE BEGINNINGS OF GOLF
The first known reference to the concept of ‘Golf’ was ‘Chaka’ in Ancient Egypt and the first recorded mention of the game was in Mayan hieroglyphics. The significance of each of these dates is important as they represent specific steps towards the development of the game of golf we know today.
