The story of the game
Deponia The 1990s: In a sleepy village, there’s no place for an
unexplained show of force. Deponia is the name of a small working
class town from the north of Italy. Goal once again takes control of
the hero protagonist, Rufus, and is on the search for his long lost
son. However, his wife has vanished during the confusion and the
village is captured by a mysterious host of evil. An unearthly force
takes over the surroundings. As Goal searches the depths of the
village, he also searches for a way of escape. As in the previous game
he has to stop the force that dominates the land. He discovers
several fascinating facts about the past of the village and will make
you laugh with his amazing misunderstandings. With his remarkable
sense of humour and the talking squirrel, Rufus will soon help his
friend and save his family.Deponia (2003) was developed by Pipo
Baudoin and initially released in 2003 on the PC platform. In March
2010, the game was re-released for the Wii with a special content
pack including all the additional content of the DS version and some
new features.
This new PC version is now released in 2016 to celebrate the 10
year anniversary of the game’s original release.
This new version has been specially developed to make it easy to play
the game on the newest operating systems. The version tested is
based on Windows 7. However, it should be noted that a Windows 7
version for this game is not available at this time. We are
currently looking for a Windows 7 operating system for this game.
This version will include all new features, such as a HUD with a
fullscreen map, objective tracker, tools for the inventory, an
easy-to-use wiki and new difficult and puzzle modes.

Character customization: You have a kit bag that contains all the tools you use in the game. You can equip them all to your character by pressing the corresponding option button on the XMB.
Death animation: The character shatters and some enemies can scream if they’re hit by you. You can activate this using the console commands.
Dress code: It’s possible to use enemy clothing as a disguise. One enemy will be dressed exactly the same as you, so you can sneak up on the guard, get the lay of the land, find the target and then take him out.
Enemy AI: Enemies in the game have awareness system. If they see you, they’ll alert the guard and the guard will attack you. Also, they’ll try to run away (and probably get shot in the back).
Handling: If you move the mouse faster than the game does, the player will lose all control of their character. Otherwise you’re fine.
Intro video: A 3 minute video of the beginning of the story.
Keyboard and joystick controls: You can use the keyboard to lock the controls in any direction and hold SPACE toggles forward and backward as well. On PS3 there’s also a trigger mode that’s very useful.
Pedestal controller controls: If you use the pedestal controller there’s a new in game control system. You need to press the PS button to go to the options screen and press X or Y to lock the control direction in that direction. Then you can hold the PS button to toggle the lock to the other direction. That’s the only thing that’s different from the keyboard and joystick controls.
Playable on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360: Wetwork is currently unplayable on the PC, because it’s Windows specific. There’s a way to play it on the 360 and PS3 via optical disc, but that’s not very handy because the “continuous play” feature is broken on the 360 and you need to pause the game every time you change discs.
Unlocked weapons: You can’t unlock new weapons in the game. You can get new weapon schematics though, as well as numerous other bonuses like the perk points boost or more healthcare. Weapons are not unrestricted in this game.
XMB control: The game uses a custom XMB which loads the save games and it has all the available map locations and weapon inventories in the menu.
