Esse Proxy is a top down shooter for the 3DS. The game is unlike anything else on the system, and is the perfect fit for the portable Nintendo 3DS. When you think about previous top down shooters, you might think it’s been a while since those days when you could hold your stylus as you lobbed bullets at your assailants while you sat comfortably in your leather chair, but Esse Proxy dares you to think differently.
The controls are extremely simple, and the best part is that you can play it in two different modes: Arcade mode or Headshots mode. Headshots is the traditional death match, where you can play as a gun for hire, or a masked man on a mission. In arcade mode, you play one of the three characters, each with their own abilities.
You can move through an open environment using the left stick and fire the primary weapon on the right stick. Your primary weapon can shoot up to five bullets a second, and while each mission you play out there are five waves, there is the option to spam the button for extra danger, which will result in a greatly shortened battery life and can lead to game over.
Do you decide to go in stealthily, figuring that the game will be over in three seconds if you let yourself be caught? If you hold up to six extra lives at once, you can go full force and kill your foe with cold-blooded precision.
When you’re in arcade mode, you will be able to earn new outfits for your character. You will also be able to unlock the various people who you meet in the world. You can also choose to play as your favorite character, like El Goofo, Ricker or Il Rucio.

Train Simulator Cajon Pass Route Add-On Available
Train Simulator‘s MTD route network is being updated this week, and already, an extension to the South East Colorado State Railroad has been made available: Cajon Pass and Atchison Route. This extension adds two regular scheduled daily round trips along the Cajon Pass route from Colorado Springs to Pueblo. This is the first in a series of extensions (more TBA) and will soon be rolled out to other parts of the MTD network. You can pick up the full Patrone version of Train Simulator from Steam here. If you’d like to get a hold of the add-on version of the Cajon Pass Route, you can find it available from the developer’s website here.
The extensions being added along the MTD network will update the vehicles and scenery along the line from those available at present. This will not affect the game’s stability; only the areas of the game represented by these new routes will get updates.

A new video on our site today delves into Train Simulator’s existing degree of accessibility.
