Designed by Rising Star Games, Spaceland is an original strategy,
demake, platformer, that uses the style and freedom of Vlambeer games
with a sci-fi setting similar to classic point-n-click adventures.

It is an independent project that started out as a small project on
Indiegogo and on a promise of 1€ per month. The end of the campaign
saw the project supported by 50 backers at €40. We hope to continue
the campaign in order to get more than 50 backers to take part in this
game! If you love games with a strong atmosphere and take no prisoners
in storytelling, then Spaceland is for you!

From now on, all the reviews you read will give you a real insight
into what is it like to play Spaceland. The game is currently in a
pre-alpha state and may not feel as polished as your favorite indie
game from the last couple of years. You will be able to play the game
and see it for yourself, while giving us feedback to make this game the
best it can be. With your help we can reach our stretch goals and turn
this game into the kind of experience you are used to at the best indie
tactics.

Stretch Goal 1: Keyboard+Mouse

As Spaceland is a demake of the famous game Frontline Commando:
Assault on Terror, we are trying to be as faithful as possible while
still keep the atmosphere and the mechanics from the classic. We will
add an interface that supports mouse and keyboard and also support an
armored tank with weapon customisation.

Stretch Goal 2: Improved AI

Through the years we’ve seen a rise in AI-controlled freemium games
and we were worried that the game would turn into one of those, where
you are only playing against AI (in between spending money on things
like artifacts). Through our research and listening to feedback we
decided to improve the AI, and in fact you will play against three
different characters, each with their own specialties and motivations.

We already have smooth graphics but it takes time to render the
current screen, therefore we can only afford to run the game at 60
