[PlayStation4] How bad is it?
Well it is a fun game. I’m only playing it for the story but I’m enjoying the different story based choices. I will say a little more about the story. I’m loving it so far. I’m only level 10 so the story only has me going through a few early quest.
None of the side quests seem to have a point. Some are about 10-20 minutes of exp/money in my 20-minute quest run. Other side quests are a 5-10 minute quest to get a piece of equipment. I’m assuming if you complete a quest you get an unlock. There is no obvious quest reward. Either that or it’s completely optional. I would love to see the story play out without holding my hand just like the old dialog options. I’m hoping it makes a sequel.
Gameplay The game is somewhat fun. The combat system is good. I understand how to use the dash attack and dodge so its more of a challenge than just a button mash fest. The weapon/shield/magic system is very important. If you don’t use the best combination you can’t deal much damage. I can run out of mana pretty easily. You can’t get a mage to easily fight unless you put the proper gear/spells on. I’m finding each weapon has a different feeling to it and feel different during the fight. I’m finding that I need more training in the skill tree to power level it up.
