How it works:
Rank Finder is “a fully functional, easy to use, and affordable, one time investment for parents/students/parents/professors that can calculate and save rankings for multiple classes of students.”
Students / students / parents enter the classes they want to calculate rankings for.
They press the ‘0’ key which calculates and saves the results in Rank Finder’s source folder.
Parents, professors etc. are sent links to their customized reports.
Rank Finder calculates ranks for different groups of students in different kinds of classes (standard, core and extra-curricular activities etc.).
Parents can customize the results by choosing the kind of rank they wish to use: rank percentile or rank category.
Either percentile or category can be selected.

Using Rank Finder / Rank Finder Pro depends on data being available.
Some of the data collection is quite broad, like the number of students in each class, some classes being compulsory for all students, and some classes not being compulsory.
For example:
Some students may take two or three classes (standard, core and extra-curricular activities etc.)
Some classes may be compulsory or optional for students.
Other classes may be solely extra-curricular and optional.
A subject being mandatory may not necessarily be compulsory.
