Windows 8 and 10 – Full screen mode: There is a small issue with the emulator regarding the Windows 8 and 10 versions of the OS. If you open the emulator in full screen mode, the emulator will crash.
If you have KEmulator and you are getting the error message \”Cannot find KEmulator.dll, KEmulator.exe or KEmulator_*.jar within the running KEmulator application directory\”, it is a simple fix. Once the file is copied to the KEmulator directory it will open correctly. This error only occurs when multiple KEmulator installers are running. If you are having a problem loading a JAR file, then copy the KEmulator.jar file from the KEmulator program directory (you’ll find it in the KEmulator.exe program directory) to the KEmulator JAR directory (probably in C:/Program Files/Java/jre6/lib/i386). Now, reopen the KEmulator program, click Options, click Local Jar Files, and select the KEmulator.jar file in the KEmulator JAR Directory. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to recommend this to other KEmulator users who were having problems with JAR files.

The facsimile apparatus is usually provided with a function to record the content of the conversation between the calling party and the called party.
A facsimile apparatus capable of recording the conversation between the calling and called parties in order to aid the calling procedure is disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. Hei 4-288113. The facsimile apparatus disclosed in this document includes a voice recorder provided on a casing, a modem, and a telephone circuit. The voice recorder detects the voice of the calling party before the facsimile apparatus is connected to the telephone circuit and stores the voice. When the user dials a destination telephone number, the facsimile apparatus starts recording the calling party’s voice.
The facsimile apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open Publication No. Hei 4-288113 requires an additional microphone in order to record the calling party’s voice. It is troublesome to manufacture a facsimile apparatus which incorporates a voice recorder and microphone. Additionally, a mike circuit, a power source, and an additional enclosure must be provided. The extra features of this facsimile apparatus such as the voice recorder and microphone will increase the cost of the facsimile apparatus.
