beautiful water effects with your desktop wallpaper. By “water” effects I mean that the ripples look like a wave on your desktop.
As with other programs, GTRipple starts up very quickly. The program allows you to create different ripple effects and you can also copy and paste an existing rippl effect onto your desktop. Even the ripples that you paint can be saved into a format that is compatible with Photoshop.

In this part, we will be considering how to blend ripples to reveal the plain background.
In our second tutorial we will try to save our bitmap from Photoshop into another image format.
Part 1. How to blend the ripple mask to reveal the plain background.
Blending the Ripple Mask
As you can see in the photo, the ripple mask from GTRipple is the top most layer.
Then, we need to blend the top ripple mask with the rest of the layers to reveal the plain background.
Simply double-click the layer that contains the ripple mask of your choice and go to Layer> Blending Options> Blend If.
To simplify the process, we have clicked the swatch on Blend If to make things quicker.
All you need to do is to put the inner edge of the Ripple Mask in to the Ocean Flap Editor window and drag the Brush Size to the right until it matches the biggest ripple you have.
If you make a mistake and don’t want to erase the ripple mask, you can press the Eraser Tool or press Crtl+Z.
If you decide to remove the ripple mask then press the Eraser Tool again.
The option below Blend If is called Backwards.
