Despite the small performance penalty of DLSS, DLSS serves as a big optimizer for the already very high performance of this game. People dont realize how smooth the game can be on even the older GTX10xx cards in their RTX2080s/2080ti/2080ti with DLSS because the frame rates are so smooth.
As for the multiplayer, there is full seven player online co-op support. When you begin the multiplayer, a blood-red glowing cloud will spawn where the players can fight. The game takes place over five stages, each with a boss, but your team can only fight one stage at a time. The location of the first stage has been changed from before. Taking out enemies to drop keys, orbs, and energy weapons, another player can help revive your ally, giving two lives. You have an unlimited amount of lives, but depending on the difficulty, you will go through fewer lives than if you chose a higher difficulty. As for weapons, you can now wield a magical weapon once you reach the city by killing a black dragon, a dagger and a shield. There are also weapons that can be found, but they only give one life.
God of War’s single player difficulty is not as complicated as the other single player games, but it still offers its unique brand of humor. The storyline doesn’t seem to be as fresh as the others, but Kratos seems like a weird mixture of both Ares and Achilles. You play as Kratos, the former God of War, on a journey to avenge the death of his family at the hands of Zeus. During the game, you are required to make tough decisions that will impact your relationship with Athena, your fellow warriors, family, and more. You also must accept numerous challenges that will force you to use your own personal skills to survive. This journey is not for the faint of heart. Kratos is going up against mother nature, the Titan Prometheus, and the Olympian gods. This game is a blood bath and it’s going to challenge you to the very end. On the other hand, you will be rewarded with a number of costumes, if you make it to that point. The rest of the game is optional, if you want to complete it, you will get to the end. But if you want to get the maximum amount of content possible, you have to learn how to survive and not get killed off before you reach your goal.

There is no single reason that the company had decided to release God of War III, aside from the fact that it must be one of the best games of the year. With the introduction of the God of War series to the current generation of consoles, they were able to go back to their roots and deliver the best God of War experience possible on the console. To put this into perspective, for a little under $40 you can buy a handheld game system in which you fight the game as Kratos. With God of War III, we can finally go back to those roots and experience the game as it was meant to be experienced.
The reason that is important is that over the past few years, God of War has become more and more focused on gore and blood. The first game was a very somber, intense experience that practically spoke to many people’s lives and always seemed to bring out the kid in all of us. God of War II was a very dark experience, but it wasn’t anywhere near as intense as God of War was. The new God of War was an almost unrecognizable game and by the time God of War III came out, it really felt like a far cry from what it once was. The series had to be remade, and to properly recapture the innocence of God of War, the focus needed to return to the roots of what made it one of the top action games on the PS2, and the PS3.
