A couple of hours ago, I stumbled across a post on Reddit about a way to get the speakers from surround sound speakers to work using an Android device. I was pretty skeptical that it would really work, but I decided to give it a shot. I pulled the drivers out of an old pair of speakers, took a couple of pictures, and tried it out. Obviously, this is more of a work in progress, and has not been fully tested. If you have a couple of spare surround speakers laying around, give this a try. I’m pretty sure this approach is much better than the tedious way of using a DAC to get it to work.
