Even though the scenario does not include air support, NATO Forces is still highly authentic and comparable to Combat Mission: Shock Force 1. In addition to the realistic and authentic gameplay elements, NATO Forces introduces new play styles to the previously stagnated series. Many units and vehicles have been reworked and rebalanced to offer a new playing experience.
NATO Forces is the third part of the Combat Mission: Shock Force series, following on from the highly successful Counter-Strike: Source. Samorost 3 is a first-person puzzle game where you play as the titular character Samorost, traveling across several beautiful but treacherous environments. Each of the ninety levels in the game is composed of five or more disconnected areas that you have to discover by experimenting with your makeshift locomotive. Samorost 3 is Jakub Dvorsky’s first game, and represents the culmination of his years of experience as a game designer, musician and artist. Samorost 3 is a spin-off of the successful game Samorost 2, and can be seen as a companion to that game.
Over the past few years, Jakub Dvorsky has worked as a musician, composer and game designer at developer Rospo Art Centre, and as an independent game designer at Broken Rules. Jakub is best known for his popular indie game Game Dev Story, which is currently in its fifth version.
He has also scored numerous games for Rospo Art Centre, including Samorost, Samorost 2 and Whale Escape and is currently working on the Samorost 3 soundtrack.
