A:

You could use split like this:
local comma = “,”
local tokens = ( select(2, split(“,”, SearchText)) )

That will give you a variable number of elements in tokens. Then you can access them like:
comma = tokens[1]

Or even this:
comma = tokens[2]

What we’re doing here is we are splitting the comma delimited input. Once we’ve obtained tokens, we then know that it’s a comma delimited string that we want to access from there.
And of course you can access the 2nd value like this:
tokens[2]

Or if you want to loop through all the values:
repeat
comma = tokens[1]
until comma == nil

Q:

How to tell what my brother/sister is doing in the middle of the night

I used to have a brother and a sister. They were both in their late teens, but looked to be about 25 now.
I know that they both play computer games a lot, but I know that they don’t always do that at the same times, and rarely together. I am not sure if I was suppose to watch them to make sure they don’t disturb others, though that would mean that they could very well have played late at night without waking me up, and that is something that I think would be extremely annoying.
I am extremely grateful for any information that would allow me to see, at any time and any place, what my siblings are doing.

A:

Unfortunately, you cannot know what your siblings are doing if they have strict rules about when they can and cannot use the computer.
However, you can find out a few things:

You can sign up for services such as Family Locator, to get reports when either your sibling stays online.
You can adjust your sleep schedule to be able to be awake when your sibling is home. (Check out this sleep journal to learn more.)
You can get a smart home hub such as WeMo to enable motion and/or light controls for all devices connected to your home network. If you have a gate to your brother’s or sister’s garage, you could also have a motion sensor (or motion detecting floodlight) attached to it.

Hopefully these things will get you off the hook!
