The setup is simple. You use the keyboard and mouse to point, while the game provides an overworld map to explore. Then, you can attack enemies by simply clicking on them. Since the enemies aren’t AI controlled, you also need to be cautious of their attacks.
Graphics are very nice, and everything fits together nicely without the colors looking garish.
Sound effects are also outstanding, and fitting for the world.
Gameplay itself is also fun. You start off as a brigand warrior of sorts, and can build on that to become a prestige lord if you do things right.
Unfortunately, the story is pretty bad. You’re locked into one outcome. And you won’t be able to freely explore and see the different endings. You can’t achieve anything except being a god who’s a worthless husk of a character.
Also, it has a terrible plot. There are many times when the game tries to make you feel sorry for you, and wants you to feel sorry for your character who couldn’t save the universe. The fact of the matter is, the players didn’t need saving. The entire world was destroyed.
But no, in this game, you have to do the saving. And if you want to save the world, you just have to gain as much power and prestige as you can, and then everybody will obey you. Which doesn’t make any sense.
If the story was actually good, I would recommend this game. If not, I can’t recommend it.

The gameplay is very similar to Diablo 2, in that you use the mouse to move, and the keyboard to attack. You have a great number of weapons and armor to choose from that effect your stats, and you have a great many spells that can be used to give you different effects.
