Connected towers is a puzzle game where you connect or disconnect towers from their power supply. You play as a little robot, who pushes towers trying to make his way through each puzzle. He needs to overcome obstacles such as gates, mazes, moving platforms and lava to make it to the end goal. The game has 27 levels that contain a mix of the game’s obstacles, requiring you to understand the rules of the game and figure out ways to handle hindrance coming your way. The game starts out easy and gradually ups the difficulty and you receive an achievement with each level you conquer. Finish levels as fast as possible to compare your best time to that of other players on the leaderboards. At first it may look like a very easy game to play, but you soon realise that the controls take some time to master. It is easy to get inside the game and think it’s easy, but there are many ways to get you trapped and try to beat your time.Tutorial available (link to the right)Some hints and instructions available
Instructions
Move the robot to the tower located on the right side of the screen (with the arrow key or mouse).If you mouse-wheel away from the tower, you will go backwards.
If your robot is in a queue, you may not move yet.Click “wait” to release it.
To connect a tower to its power source, click the socket with the blue arrow or mouse to start the flow of electricity.Wait until all the towers are connected. Your robot should be ready to move.
To release a tower, click the socket of the tower that is connected to the power supply. Wait until the power is lost and the tower will be removed.
To undo a tower, use the button that was used to make it.You can reconnect your towers quickly by using a shortcut. You can change the shortcut by pressing the button at the bottom of the screen.
If you activate a shortcut too quickly after an obstacle has been removed, it will reactivate the other towers as if the obstacle was still there. If you mess up and connect the wrong tower, don’t waste time removing the obstacle. Turn off the shortcut first and try again.
You must always turn off a shortcut when you remove an obstacle from the path. Otherwise you’ll have a problem when reconnecting.
There are many ways to remove obstacles.Lava, moving platforms and gates are in front of you. You can use them like stairs and jump on them. If you tap the game screen, you start sliding down the surface and when you tap again you stop sliding and find a path to the tower.
Check the rules at the beginning of the game to determine what kind of obstacle to use.
When you have to walk through an area and can’t use an obstacle, you may see a white screen instead of your robot moving. This happens when you are in a very difficult area, and the game decides that you won’t be able to figure out how to get to the tower without the obstacle. You’ll have to find another way.
When you finish a level, you will receive an achievement
