Hi what a nice place to find people with simular problems, wow I am a list of injuries. I was a Marine I was hit in the head with a Rocket Propelled Grenade, during a foot fight in Afghanistan in November 2006. I was hit in the head, and have a large lump in the left side of my head. In March 2007 I came down the mountain and lost control of my vehicle and threw myself out of it and was hit on the head twice and concussed on the left side of my head. In April 2007 my legs were sprained and in May I went to a private practicing Neurologist and was put on Cymbalta for pain. I was suffering from dizziness, blurred vision, difficulty in concentrating, headaches, irritability, insomnia and not able to get my mind off a headache. I had high blood pressure, but only a little, I was tested for some other things and I was not taking any medications for any of these problems. I told the Neurologist that I was a combat veteran in the US Marines, and that I did not know if I had any head injuries, but that my vision was blurry every day and I was getting headaches 24/7 and was not sleeping but my blood pressure was fine. He knew all this from listening to my problems and hearing my story. He told me, that I should go to my family doctor and get a CT scan, so I did. My Gynecologist told me that I had all the female things going on. I went to my family doctor who did a CT scan of my brain, my cervical spine and my whole body. He told me that I had to have one of these though I disagreed, I told him that this was not my first time and wanted to know how soon I could start taking the Cymbalta, I was suffering from TBI with a headache or a migraine, he said, I did not believe him and that I had high blood pressure and an enlarged heart. The Neurologist was working on some other ideas as to why I was suffering from what I was suffering from. I was suffering from the headaches, blurred vision, dizziness, the fact that I was dizzy every day, the fact that I could not concentrate, the fact that my arms and legs would go numb. I told my neurologist about this. He prescribed some Cymbalta.
