History
AutoCAD was originally designed by Tom Alonzo and Robert Alonzo, both of the Autodesk Design Group at the time. The first version was released in December 1982. The original version was shipped on a diskette, which was a bulky medium and required its own standalone application.
Cisco Systems purchased Autodesk from its creators for $120 million in 1992. For the next two years, Autodesk focused on expanding their business with new products, including Cadence. Autodesk’s focus on new products was reflected in their 1990 annual report, which stated, “one of our most important corporate policies is to respond quickly to the market, and we have been very successful.”
In October 1992, Autodesk released a new version of AutoCAD to the public, based on an entirely new code base and the inclusion of many new features, including the ability to create 3D models and render them in solid colors. AutoCAD 3D Graphics (also known as AutoCAD 3D), with its new user interface, took a major step toward more integrated design.
In 1994, the company released the first version of its new Animation product, which enabled users to animate models in 3D space.

TAYLOR, Texas – A Texas woman who received tick bites after taking a nature walk in her yard and suffered from arthritis has received medical care for the second time.
Emily Falk, who lives in the Taylor, Texas, area, said she was walking through her yard on June 22 when she noticed a tick on her arm. She said she quickly got some tweezers from the car and removed the tick. However, Falk said the tick’s mouth was still on her arm.
“I felt the mouth in my forearm and it started shaking,” she told ABC News. “Then it slowly started dropping off and I kept pulling on it.”
Falk said she started to itch and so she went to an emergency room where the doctor said there was a tick in her arm and prescribed her a painkiller. Falk said she didn’t have any other bites or symptoms of illness.
After a few days, Falk began experiencing arthritis in her fingers. She said she called her doctor and said she had been bitten by a tick. Falk said the doctor told her not to worry about it. Falk said the doctor told her it was a common occurrence.
“He said ‘it’s very common,’ and I said ‘well, I’ve never heard of it,’” she said. “I was upset but I didn’t tell him that. I thought it was weird and I would have mentioned it if I thought it was weird.”

A common error in reading from the file is the absence of the FILE
* stream wrapper and the use of $fp = fopen(), which works by itself
without any argument. The $fp = fopen() function does not check if
there is a stream wrapper and if not, it tries to use fopen() itself.
The latter is wrong if there is no stream wrapper on the system. In
such a case, one needs to use either the $fp = fopen($filename, $mode)
function or, if there is no $filename argument, the $fp = fopen()
function without any argument to specify the path to the file.
And a fopen() without argument only opens a file, not a stream wrapper. You have to use a stream wrapper to get your file into a stream:
