1. Mecha:
Pick from the 7 different mechs, each with their own weapons, attacks and strengths. Be careful to choose wisely, as the wieght of the mech directly affects its speed and its maximum capacity of shots. No one wants to carry a slow, heavy mech.
The faster a mech is, the less likely it will be able to dodge projectiles.
2. Weapons:
Each weapon has its own unique game mechanics, including it’s impact on the change of the Mecha’s performance.
3. Hits:
Each shot has its own impact on a building. Do you want to destroy a whole building or simply an element of it?
4. Land
The land is destructible, and objects can fall on the ground or even collide with each other, depending on the location and relative position of the objects.
5. Damage:
Each object has a certain amount of damage that it takes before it disappears. So be sure to watch out for those objects that you want to keep intact…
6. Jets:
Each building has its own internal jet pack, which can be ignited and launched by pressing the corresponding button on your mech. These can be used to carry debris to new areas, attack enemies, or simply fly away.
7. Grouping
You will be limited to the number of mecha you can take with you at any time, so you will need to form groups.
8. Player Customization
There are many different options for you to customize your Mecha, including the colors, silhouettes, weapons, and everything else.
9. Multiplayer
When you defeat an enemy, you can play a little game of cat and mouse.

          Overall: I love the game rules and the game engine. I’ve never designed a game before so it has been great learning in terms of designing games, and you can learn a lot about designing games from the examples. The in-game experience and graphics are not stellar, but that’s true for most indie games, and you know what? That’s cool!

          Mechanics: There are some complicated mechanics that are oftentimes well-delivered and balanced, and there are some complex mechanics that are definitely not anywhere near balanced or well-delivered, but that’s true for most indie games and a lot of larger commercial games. It’s cool to see, but it has held some surprises for me.

          Graphics: The illustrations aren’t amazing, but at the same time they have their own charm.

          Allegiance is a 4v4 FPS turn based strategy game where your forces will have to combine with one another to take control of the shared planet of Pythos. Matches in Allegiance will last anywhere from 2 minutes to an hour and can be triggered at any time. Additionally, matches can be paused or continued at any time.
          There are two teams of 4, and each team has a roster of 7 different units. Players will use a separate keyboard to control their units, while also using the mouse to click on points of interest on the map that can be shared with allies. The only real restriction on how to control your units is that they can’t move or turn faster than the speed of the fastest unit on the team, which is why units must coordinate well.
          Players can also use a shared HUD that can be updated with information on match state and the health of your units. When a player is killed they will lose any salvageable items on their team, their faction and their HUD will be disconnected from other players, and they will lose any ongoing match to be moved to a timed match.
          In Allegiance, players can be a part of different teams simultaneously and can also remain separated from others during a match. You can switch teams at any point during the match, and from one round of matches to the next. Although not required, your team can be chosen to start a match immediately, be made to wait for an update and all-around clean up the map, or be a spectator.
          Allegiance features a small set of rules but each player can be playing for as long as they like. You don’t have to finish a match to be considered a winner. If you die, your team loses that match and will need to start all over.
          Each round of matches can have multiple phases, where players can attack and defend certain areas of the map or also engage in larger battles. Phase 1 will typically consist of setting up defenses, stealing key resources, or defending objectives. Phase 2 will typically be the main conflict, where players will work together to take control of several key points on the map. Phase 3 will be the clean up, where teams will work together to secure key resources and clean up enemy remaining objectives. Finally, phase 4 is where any remaining resources will be gathered.
          Allegiance borrows elements from other FPS games and games in general to create a unique gameplay experience. These elements include shared HUDs, timing systems, building systems and much more.

Data were collected from 50 relatives from three metropolitan centers in Israel using a semi-structured interview and a self-administered questionnaire. The questionnaire contained measures of burden, satisfaction, perceived quality of care and patient’s mental health. The interview was conducted by a psychiatrist in a face-to-face setting and focused on the relationship between the caregiver and the care recipient. Interviews took place over a one-week period. The results showed that the major perceived burden among family members of mentally ill patients was in terms of practical problems of managing the patient’s daily life, with least perceived burden in terms of psychological problems of the patients’ illness. It was found that burden among family members was not significantly related to patients’ mental health and/or care recipient’s quality of life, satisfaction with care and self-perceived quality of care. Among the relatives who were mainly primary caregivers, the care recipients’ social problems were significantly related to burden. Among relatives who were caregivers in addition to other primary caregivers, the care recipients’ social problems were significantly related to burden. The study showed that the main burden was in terms of dealing with patients’ practical problems, and not in terms of dealing with patients’ psychological problems.
