Hive P v. S is a high octane platforming adventure of speed and destruction. It is packed full of features making for both fast paced gameplay and lots of challenging moments.
Simple and intuitive controls are easy to master and players can get to grips with the game quickly, with zero joystick skills required.
As the player progresses through the game enemies will appear and try to catch up with the player. Players can escape this danger if they collect power-ups that make them invincible and destroy their enemies.
The player can collect stars to score points and beat their high score. It is possible to collect as many stars as possible without getting hit by an enemy.
Additional points can be scored by collecting power-ups that play a part in the story. Players can use these power-ups to increase their speed, shoot, catch up with the enemies and alter gravity.
The development of the game started as a small experiment using Unity. We then knew we had a game to publish on Steam. But, what we didn’t know was how big the game would get and to make matters worse we had no one on the team who would be up to the challenge of making the game a reality!
We were fortunate enough to have a helping hand in the form of some great people at the Gif Games development studio. With very limited time and resources, the team was able to take our core idea and make it into the game that you see today.
We’re thankful for the people who have supported Hive P v. S since day 1 and we hope that you enjoy the final game.
