as I have been waiting for this game for a while, I’m glad I was able to finally experience it.
The looks are good and the story line is certainly unique enough, although the characters are not much to speak of. The world is beautiful even if it takes some getting used to, where it has different locations that offer your encounter different fights.
Now for the gameplay, I found the combat a little tedious at first, since the controls are not the simplest to master (one button for attack and one for using a special skill like fire, ice, wood, fire, etc.
The way it works is that you can use your magic to cast a spell that has several different attacks based on the elements of that spell, for example fire attacks, ice attacks, etc. However the rules of the game allows you to use certain elements of your spells more than once, so if you aim to use the fire spell as your main attack you can cast it in different ways by using different elements, so first use fire, then use cold, then use fire again, etc.
The good thing is that it makes the combat different from each other, not to mention that you have special skills for every element. Also you can use each element more than once.
I cannot say much about the story, as it does not open until you complete the main quest and when you do, well the story is interesting enough. However you do not have control of your character at all, so other than the setting of the main world, the story is quite bland. Even though it is in fragments, you do learn more about the main characters as you play through and they become more interesting the more you learn about them.
The game has a lot of different NPCs that you can talk to, and you have the option to challenge them and talk to them about your own quest, or send them to other places to help you. There are also shops and shops where you can get new items and items to make new items.
Gameplay wise, I was quite happy with this game. You can play it solo or in multiplayer. There are a lot of side missions, and some of them are really interesting, as I really do not know what the point is. The story was interesting enough, however the character development is rather minimal.
