Dentist Assistant is a Java desktop application for dentists. This application was built by a Dutch dentist for his own use. The application was released in the year 2006 and it has been continuously developed. There are four main modules:

The first three modules contain the main features of the application. The fourth module contains a sample template to process dental payments. This application is especially useful for dentists with more than one office.

Instead, you can pay the bill directly from the application. The insurance agencies may possibly ask for payments details, but you may continue this process from inside Dentist Assistant.
e) Check the payment status in the system.
That is, the financial status of the patients is recorded in the database and you can see it graphically.
You can easily find the names of the patients who are due to pay, or see what happened to a particular patient payment.
f) Access patient information.
You may use patient information in Dentist Assistant, such as information on a particular patient’s name, occupation, address, birthday, or telephone number.
This information can be recorded in Dentist Assistant using “Memorabilia”, a new feature of Dentist Assistant.
g) Import data from other applications.
If you use a diary, your appointments and treatment may be recorded in Dentist Assistant.
