You were once a mortal man… Now you’re a leader of a small forest and a king who reigns over the spirits and undead.
Hundreds of years ago a war between realms went rampant and a king born in the realm of undead was created. The King was a hard man, who let no one invade his domain, but no one dared to disobey the king, no one but you did.
Long time ago, spirits and dead, warriors and peasants were protecting the natural kingdom of the forest. You united them and created a small kingdom, but the king never trusted you. He said that you are the mortal enemy, and all that was created after his death.
Your only friend: the forest heart.
The forest heart is an ancient monster who controlled the army of undead. Your father told you that he was safe and would follow you, but when the forest heart fell out of heaven, he unleashed the most powerful army.
Every day there is more and more undead, everyday there is more war. If the forest heart was not underground, where it is now, the undead army would crush all of humanity.
The forest heart is safe, but your father told you the truth. If the whole forest is destroyed, he will lose his control over the undead king.
What will you do now to save the whole kingdom?
The most important decision you made was to give some of the power to a mortal being.
The king of the forest heart was a wise old tree. He had many good plans and will advise you on how to save your realm, but he also believed that you should have full power of decision, as you are the only one who understand the forest heart.
He formed the plans together with you and asked you to make a decision. You know the forest heart, but not the other kingdoms.
You decided to give full power of decision to the forest heart. And since you are the only one who can control the forest heart, you will be the one to decide what to do in order to save the whole forest.

    Giant Bomb (Review)Neural Synthesis is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi MMO set in the far-flung stars of the Valiant Universe, a universe of science fiction books and movies spanning over 100 novels. It’s a world where humanity has been forced into the shadows and cut off from the rest of the galaxy. Now the evil Secret Service, or SSS, has been unearthed, and the SSS has the power to turn the Valiant Universe into a dystopia, using technology to strip humanity of its will and turning everyone, even the most pure-hearted and innocent, into a savage killer.

    “The game is mainly a linear survival experience. You must keep yourself fed and alive on a quest to escape the wasteland and follow the tracks of the SSS agents that pursue you. There’s combat too, but you’ll want to save it for when you’re ambushed, which will happen far more often than you’d like, as that’s the best way to actually score some points. If you’re lucky you might even earn some “better” loot, but no success in combat will stop you from being cold, hungry and tired. The game doesn’t handle the Survival Horror elements it could have done either, but is better than most MMOs out there as it’s a typically polished BioWare game that feels comfortable, like an MMO, and stylish, like a proper cinematic.”

    A sci-fi MMO with procedurally generated cities, vehicles, a persistent economy and player/npc interactions called ‘Social Conversations’ has unfortunately always been a bit of an oxymoron. If BioWare was going for a dark, PvP-focused, and emotionally crushing MMO, then the team has certainly hit their mark.
