The Order: 1886 has a lot going for it. A world-class CGI effect has created a gritty, 1866 London that is visually stunning. The new-take on the Jackson’s King of Hearts mythos has given us a Game of Thrones like world with beautifully rendered environments and detail. The controls and gameplay are slickly executed. If you want to see a game where you are always going to be a romantic lead while never needing to do anything romantically, this is it. (May be worth waiting for the PC version for control customization and butter-smooth performance in the final product)

1. The Order: 1886 (Sony)

The Order: 1886 looks like a promising new IP. Unfortunately, what we get is a game that is so plagued with technical issues that they prevent it from being an enjoyable experience. The moment you boot up the game, it literally freezes for 5-10 minutes before responding to your input. The most egregious of the lot is the game’s framerate. The framerate drops much more frequently than the consoles that made the game look so good. When you do get in a game, the framerate lags and stutters quite frequently. It looks like we get the worst of the best, and we don’t even get the greatest of the greats. (If the framerate is just a mystery to you, please stay away from the game until technical issues are resolved)
