This design was popular with titanium roadies because they do not want to spend the time to learn the intricacies of a traditional road frame design. They just want a frame that meets their needs and is comfortable, and the Fiordo delivered.
We saw another trend on this front in the XTracycle. The original three-wheeled design had a box-section frame, which was designed to make it easier to find a dealer to fix it.
