A.I. Space Corps is a glorious space shooter and a tribute to 80’s arcade shooters and the genre that created them. While a “retro”-like atmosphere might be missing, A.I. Space Corps is a very ambitious and very polished shooter.
While there are only few weapons available initially, the different types have different impact on the game.
The real draw of the game however is the board system: You can move your ship, rotate it and dock it, and utilize the different parts as temporary shields, secondary guns, or even to destroy an enemy vessel with a ‘nuclear bomb.’ Since the weapon upgrades are essential to be successful here, the end result is well balanced as well.
The game is largely about strategy, and the challenge is always there. There are numerous board systems to be aware of, and enemies that are hiding behind AI bots on board or in space.
A.I. Space Corps is one of the best looking PC games in recent years. The graphics are crisp and colorful, and the level design is well done.
No problems about the gameplay or audio exist. The 30+ single player missions comprise a fairly good challenge. There are many hidden secrets as well as bonus levels scattered around to make things a bit more difficult.
A.I. Space Corps is a very well made shooter that provides a lot of satisfaction.

Wizard Wars is a series of graphical novel-based text adventure games written by Jim Walls and produced by Magnetic Scrolls. The setting of the books is apparently 700,000 years in the future where a great conflict in technology has engulfed the Earth. Each book tells a different side of the conflict.
Publication history
The series was originally written by Jim Walls and was published by Magnetic Scrolls in 1987–1991 with two initial hardcover books (December 1989 and December 1990) and two CD-ROM books (May 1992 and August 1992).
Following the success of the first two books and Magnetic Scrolls’ financial struggles, additional books were published by other companies, with two more CD-ROM volumes published in 1994 and 1995. Later books were published by Gamewright.
The series currently consists of 12 books, translated into 24 languages. The number of books is currently expanding with the 12th book scheduled for release in late 1998 or early 1999 and the 13th book scheduled for 2000. There is also a sequel, written and published by Jim Walls himself, entitled The Gates of Hell, for his own personal amusement.
In 1993, “The Albatross” book was translated into German. In 1998, a softcover German version of the last book was published in Germany as “Die Abschiedsgeschichte des Dämonens” (“The Demons farewell”).
The German version includes some new stuff and the voice of a new artist.
